Today is Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day takes place in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people across the world. More than 100 countries participate.
Read about the activities around the world on the Insafe website.

Save the Children Denmark is a member of INHOPE, the international hotline network. INHOPE marks the day by launching a video about the co-operation with Interpol to identify victims of sexual abuse. Watch the video.

Save the Children celebrates the Safer Internet Day by choosing the winners of a contest for children. Watch children’s videos here and check out the information at the safer chat website (it’s all in Danish).

Everybody can play a part for a better and safer internet for children!
